Transform Your Mental Health
Providing personalised online Human Givens therapy, specialising in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and cross-cultural issues.
'Deyaan' translates into 'Focus' in many languages, which is the essence of Ropinder's collaborative, evidence-based and solution-focused approach at Deyaan Wellbeing.
Alongside a successful career in Business IT, I've studied and worked part-time in Mental Health since 2009. I've previously worked as a Trauma Therapist with the NHS for 6 years, and since leaving there, as a volunteer Counsellor and Mentor at Childline (counselling young people up to the age of 19), and in my private practice.
I hold a Diploma in Human Givens Psychotherapy (2010) from the Human Givens College and a PostGraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy (2011) from Nottingham Trent University.
Human Givens therapy is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
I grew up in the West Midlands in the 1980s - so some would say my accent is friendly! I love being active and being outdoors, and can often be found going for lovely walks near Leicestershire, where I now live with my family.
I offer online sessions, using Zoom, MS Teams or WhatsApp, and have flexible scheduling options to accommodate your needs. Contact me to schedule a no-cost 15-minute chat for further information.
Human Givens (HG) therapy is often known for being quick and effective. Many clients notice improvements after their very first session, and many complete their therapy within 4 to 6 sessions. HG is a short-term approach, aimed at helping individuals return to a healthy, balanced life as swiftly as possible.
A no-cost phone call to discuss how therapy will work and what outcomes you may be looking for.
60 minute session for one-to-one therapy.
A small number of slots are available at a reduced rate for one-to-one therapy (60-minute sessions) for those aged 19 or under, and those in full-time study.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will incur the full session fee. Sessions can be rescheduled on request (based on availability).
Please email us at hello@deyaanwellbeing.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The Human Givens approach is a solution-focused methodology drawing upon the best of many forms of therapy, up-to-date research and neuroscience, and is designed to help individuals quickly improve their wellbeing. See our HG Therapy page for more information.
The Professional Standards Authority (PSA) for Health and Social Care is the government authority that accredits and oversees many therapy and counselling organisations, including BACP, UKCP, NCS, as well as the Human Givens Institute. Accreditation with the PSA means the organisation meets the PSA’s high standards in: governance, education and training, setting standards, providing information and complaints handling.
It sounds like Roo-pin-da, but she doesn't mind how you say her name!

In the majority of cases, we'll use outcome measures to track your progress. This means filling in a short multi-choice questionnaire online before each session to track how you've been in relevant areas since the last session.
Not at all. HG therapy is intended to help you as quickly as possible, with many clients achieving what they wish to within 4-6 sessions. That said, some feel better in fewer sessions, and in some complex cases, more sessions may be required. You will always be in charge of whether you want another session, and we will review progress as we go.
To book an appointment or an initial discovery chat with Ropinder, please see the contact section below.
Payments are to be made via BACS transfer. The details you'll need are given at the end of your session, and an invoice can also be provided if needed.
